Improving Living Environment

LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is a cleaner fuel in comparison to, for example, diesel and fuel oil. In addition to that, biogas can be a component to make LNG.

Replacing conventional oil-based fuels by LNG leads e.g. to up to 100% SOX reduction, up to 85 % Nox reduction, up to 100% particulate matter. Moreover LNG-driven engines produce less noise (-10dB(a) in comparison to diesel). LNG is already being used for transport, shipping and industrial use.
