To settle disputes, consumers can apply for arbitration proceedings at the “Schlichtungsstelle Energie” (“Energy Arbitration Office”). The precondition for this is that the supplier has been contacted by phone beforehand and no mutually satisfying solution has been found within 4 weeks.
